Exercise n.6, A-B-C-D / The space of the variants

Le cartoline postali, il loro esaltare una realtà più bella del reale, insieme al ricordo di momenti speciali vissuti in uno spazio e tempo lontani dal quotidiano, diventano il materiale compositivo per una serie di collage.
La cartolina viene sottratta alla sua funzione originaria di testimonianza per essere trasformata in frammento autonomo che, combinato con altri, costruisce un orizzonte a perdita d'occhio.
Ne emerge un'iper-realtà straniante in cui le consuete coordinate di spazio e tempo sembrano dissolversi, un tentativo di ricucire il viscerale e l'artificiale, il vissuto e l'immaginato.

Postcards – and their way of exalting a reality more beautiful than the real, together with the memory of special moments lived in a space and time far removed from the everyday – become the compositional material for a series of collages.
The postcard is stripped of its original function as testimony and transformed into an autonomous fragment which, combined with others, builds a horizon stretching as far as the eye can see.
What emerges is a disorienting hyper-reality in which the usual coordinates of space and time seem to dissolve, an attempt to stitch together the visceral and the artificial, the lived and the imagined.
